Boy or a Girl????
I hope mom and baby are doing well after what was a very scary situation!
PS. No matter how well you think the baby is nursing, promise me to ask for a lactation consultant to check your latching. REQUEST / INSIST you get Cecilia. She runs the program. She's a little zany, but knows her stuff.
The first consultant we had (short hair, younger) gave us bad info and said I was doing fine. In fact, what she taught me (that latching should hurt my nipples) is what landed Ryan in the hospital since the pain meant he was smooshing closed my milk ducts.
Cecilia will get you started the right way.
We love you guys and will continue to pray for you both. Get soem rest and enjoy this beautiful baby.

Wow! Your labor and delivery sounds SO much like what I had with Jack. Don't be discouraged, although I know it is hard. So many emotions right now... I love you guys! Call me if you wanna talk! Congratulations on a healthy new baby!

Oddly enough - I checked into this blog to see what was going on with you all - and WOW!!! I guess you've been busy!
Oh - I was so HOPING for a boy! Hurray! Yippee! I'm so excited for everyone!
I did the whole scenario as you described, resulting in the C-section. Things will be OK and it's just wonderful news that everyone is doing well.
